Publisher Brill relies on CB for international logistics

Academic publisher Brill also chooses CB for warehousing and international distribution of publications. A great partnership!

Since June 2023, we have provided stock management, pick & pack and worldwide shipping (excluding Americas) for Brill. We also handle returns for Brill and produce books via print on demand when titles are out of stock.

Peter Hendriks, interim CEO of Brill: "We are happy with the cooperation with CB and the way they have made this switch possible. CB is a very experienced distributor in the Netherlands and abroad, with whom the delivery of Brill's books to our international customers is in good hands. The convenient location of the warehouse in relation to our print supplier simplifies logistics and thus reduces our carbon footprint."

In cooperatoin with CB, Brill makes 26,000 titles available: 5,000 in stock and 21,000 via print on demand.

Sustainable

Brill focuses on reducing CO2 emissions. Print on demand allows it to produce only books that are actually ordered and save on international transport of stock. Brill has been working for years with Printforce, CB's joint venture partner in print on demand.

Expansion of international scientific publishers' customer base

Mathijs Suidman, Commercial Director CB: "Brill is an important scientific publisher. With them, we have further expanded our position as a European e-fulfilment partner for international publishers." Earlier, Springer and Elsevier, among others, also chose CB.
